1. Who we are

DJ Set Pilot (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the DJ Set Pilot service accessible at djsetpilot.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

2. Data we collect

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address via Supabase Auth.

Billing data: Stripe processes your payment information. We store only a Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and current period end date — we never see or store your raw card details.

Session and playlist data: Your generated set, configuration, and saved playlists (Pro) are stored in our database linked to your account.

Usage data: We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

Music files: Your local audio files are never uploaded to our servers. Metadata (BPM, key, energy, genre) is processed in your browser only.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and maintain the DJ Set Pilot service
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To diagnose and fix technical issues
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Third-party services

Supabase — authentication, database, and infrastructure. Data is hosted on servers within the EU/US depending on your project region.

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data you provide during checkout.

Vercel — hosting and edge network. Standard server logs may be retained per Vercel's data retention policy.

Resend — transactional email delivery (account confirmation, password reset). Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for the purpose of sending these emails.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@djsetpilot.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of DJ Set Pilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
